Presentation Skills for Brainiacs workshop

Do you struggle to successfully communicate complex ideas during your presentations? Explaining yourself and your work in a way that’s clear, compelling, and relatable can be tough, especially when you present remotely!

When you’re speaking to clients, upper management, elected officials, the general public, etc., it’s a problem if they can’t understand what you’re saying and don’t know how they’re supposed to respond. How do you simplify your presentations without talking down to your audience? How do you get people to take the actions you want? And how can you present effectively during a virtual meeting?

Presentation Skills for Brainiacs gives you the tools you need to develop understandable presentations that inspire your audiences to take action!

“Laura is charismatic and entertaining and gave us tools and resources that we could put to use immediately. Working with Laura to develop this workshop was a pleasure; she was very accommodating and tailored the content for our specific needs and audience, mostly postdoctoral fellows in STEM disciplines. She was very well prepared and professional. I highly recommend her workshops!”

Jessica Babb, Instructor in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School

“I had the great privilege of meeting Laura at the Women in Tech summit in Philadelphia, where I attended Presentation Skills for Brainiacs. I learned so much about presentation skills – the do’s and don’ts. Laura is phenomenal in explaining how to create effective presentations. With us being globally located and virtual employees, we need these skills more so than before. Thank you, Laura, for entertaining all my questions and walking us all through various examples.”
